CrossFit Games 2021 starts tomorrow. Who’s excited?

The CrossFit Games 2021 starts tomorrow and I didn’t realise until today…

The Tokyo Olympics started over the past weekend, and we are now about to enter the CrossFit Games 2021. Starting tomorrow, we will be able to watch these incredible athletes compete to gain the title of “Fittest on Earth”.

Mat Fraser recently retired after 5 consecutive “Fittest on Earth” wins, which means the title is open to more top men athletes this year. As for the women’s title, most people are certain that Tia Claire Toomey will retake the win because she’s at the top of her game. She has 4 consecutive wins, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she made it a 5th year running.

My top men athletes for taking the throne would be Noah Olsen, Bjรถrgvin Karl Guรฐmundsson or Jacob Heppner. They’re great guys, and I feel like it’s going to be a very close call between a handful of men athletes this year. That’s not to say the women won’t be making a show. I believe it will also be a great run as everyone tries to keep up with or even try to beat Tia Claire Toomey. I would love to see Haley Adams, Katrin Davidsdottir, or Kara Saunders push it and potentially take the lead.

Will Haley Adams become the CrossFit Games 2021 fittest on Earth?
Haley Adams

Haley Adams has a huge advantage of being one of the youngest games competitors. She’s definitely one to keep an eye on, especially throughout the next 5-10 years of the Crossfit Games competition.
