Dear me in five years

Dear me in five years from now. I hope you are well COVID has been defeated, and it hasn’t killed you or any family members. I hope Mum is still okay and back to her regular routine, and you can see each other regularly.

Dear me in five years... What's happening right now

Right now, I have my own business and am contracting for the University of Exeter. I hope that when you eventually move on from them as your client, you move to someone as good as they are. If you decide to return to full-time permanent work, I hope you work for someone who is stable and can pay you your actual worth. You’re worth more than what previous companies have paid you. Stand up for yourself more and be more confident in yourself.

Right now, you’re deciding whether or not to move to GoLang. If you decide to go that route, I hope it’s the right one and that it works out for the better.

You’re going to CrossFit five times a week and becoming stronger. You look healthier and are losing weight. I hope that you’re super strong in five years and can compete in more competitions and win some cool stuff.

Dear me in five years... I hope we’re happier going out more often, and able to treat ourselves and others more. I’m sure we won’t have any credit card debts hanging over our heads anymore. I’m also positive we will have emergency funds saved in case shit inevitably hits the fan. No pressure, though, but I know you will do past me p
