What happened in March?

Tiff and I started our “March for March” pretty strong, but we lost motivation after a couple of unfortunate weeks. Not a lot happened after that, if I’m honest. I have been hard at work with blog posts, started 100 posts in 100 days challenge, and working hard on my weekly newsletter.

What I’m looking forward to

The days are starting to get lighter. We’ve now entered British Summer Time (GMT+1), and things are looking more positive. Lockdown is easing, and we’ll soon be able to visit friends, families and other people. We can now visit 5 other people outside, which is a great start.

I look forward to seeing my mum and going out to restaurants. The weather is getting better, and the days are warmer. The outset is starting to look much more positive, and I can’t wait to see what April holds.

What’s in store for April

We don’t have any plans for April, maybe as things start easing, we can start to make plans.

What are your plans for this month? Have you got anything you’re really excited about? Let me know in the comments below. 🔽

This time last year was when things started to pick up on how serious COVID was. Near the end of March, the UK went into its first lockdown, and it feels like we never truly left March of 2020. It was a weird time for all of us, but here we are, heading into March of 2021 in full force.

The good news is that things are starting to look up. We have the vaccine which is being given to people at an impressive rate. This means that eventually, infection rates will go down, and we can start getting back to normal. Boris Johnson will start to ease up on restrictions and eventually let us out of lockdown.

It’s looking good, and the Sun is starting to shine, which has drastically improved my mood. My wife and I have been out for walks the past week, and we both feel better.

What’s in store for March?

My wife and I will be taking part in “March for March”, and we will be walking 10,000 steps a day during this month. Hopefully, there will still be enough time to get a fair amount of blog posts out.

I hope you have a lovely month in March, and I hope its filled with happiness and joy.

I bid you farewell January, and hello February 2021 👀

Last month was a pretty boring yet stressful month for me. However, I did close it nicely by starting a new job. It’s a senior developer position with a company called Meshh. They’re a market research company and create analytical data from live events. I’m pretty excited to be joining, and I hope I’ll pass my 3 month probation period.

As for January blog posts, let’s see what went on…

What am I planning in February?

A few blog posts are sitting in my drafts folder that I hope to post very soon. Hopefully, I can slowly get back into a nice rhythm of blog posts which you can all enjoy. I’m sure lockdown will still be ongoing for the whole of this month, which is a little annoying because I want to get back to CrossFit and see more faces again.

Oh, it’s also my wife’s birthday on the 13th, and then valentines on the 14th so we’ll be having a few treats. Despite the shit-storm, life isn’t all that bad, and I’m very grateful for what I have.

Fireworks which explode to say 2021

Hello January, Goodbye December 2020

I want to start this blog post off by wishing all my readers (past, present and future) a happy new year. I hope it’s better than in 2020, and I hope everyone can prosper in the year to come. Last month wasn’t very eventful. My wife and I had a few pet sitting clients, and we spent Christmas and new year at home.

Last month was a good year for blog posts. In total, I posted 12 posts, which was a lot more than November. If you would like to know what they were, then I have listed them below. Please feel free to click on them and explore my blog.

What’s in store for January?

Honestly, I’m really not sure at the minute as we have no plans. With COVID still lurking around, and all the tier stuff going on. I don’t think we’re really able to plan anything right now.

What are your plans for next month? Have you got anything you’re really excited about? Let me know in the comments below. 🔽

That’s everything for this month and despite receiving tragic news from my best mate Josh, this month went well all things considered.
Ron will be forever in my heart as he was someone who I loved and was like a father to me, I will never forget all the good memories and times we shared, R.I.P Ron. My cat seems to be getting better with the help of steroids, although he will need to be properly looked at soon, I feel he will get better.
