Tia-Clair Toomey went vegan for 1 day
Tia-Clair Toomey might be going vegan
Some of you know I’m a vegan and while I don’t shout about it, I fully support everyone making the move. Tia-Clair Toomey announced on Youtube that she is looking to cut down her meat intake and make the move to a vegan (or plant-based) diet.
In the video, you can see James Newbury help her with the transition. He spends the whole day creating amazing food which Tia and Shane both enjoy. At the end of the video, they talk about making the change for a day. While I’m a little disappointed that they didn’t decide to go for longer, I appreciate that it is a good start. I’m also happy with the fact that they learned a lot when giving it a go, and they’re showing other people what is actually possible by eating less meat.
Hopefully, they’ll continue the trend and eventually make the full transition. We also have to remember that technically it is a plant-based diet because there’s a lot more to consider with veganism if you want to make a full transition. I’m really hoping more athletes can see the benefits and make the correct choice. Once one high-performing athlete makes the move and keeps growing as a high-performing athlete, then they’ll see there are clear benefits.
Shane’s sense of humour is also hilarious. I love his comment on what he thought a vegan diet was. This is probably what many people think in the beginning (myself included) and it’s great to show that it is definitely more than ice cubes and lettuce.
“When we think vegans we think just ice cubes”

What are your thoughts?
Are you for or against this kind of content? Tia Clair Toomey is trying something new which is great, but I’d love to hear if you think it was clickbait and they’re doing it for more views. I know that is the whole point in YouTube but I think you can build a following without clickbaiting too much.
